Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited is recruiting a qualified Children's Social Worker to join Salford's Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). You will assess safeguarding concerns, carry out investigations, and collaborate with partner agencies to develop effective intervention plans.

You will provide support to families, maintain case records in line with statutory requirements, and contribute to child protection conferences.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with SW England registration.
• Experience in safeguarding and child protection.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills under pressure.

As a key member of the MASH team, your responsibilities will include:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Demonstrated experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with families and professionals.
