Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is recruiting a Therapeutic Residential Worker for a National Charity that supports vulnerable children and young people with therapeutic care, education and treatment. The role will involve weekend work, sleepovers, and early mornings/evenings with required flexibility.

You will benefit from a fully funded, industry-accredited training programme that can lead to a qualification as a Child Psychotherapist, with ongoing training and clear progression opportunities within

• Experience working as a Support Worker in a similar setting (desirable as full training provided)
• Demonstrates ability to communicate in a positive and open manner
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of others

Responsibilities

• Experience working as a Support Worker in a similar setting (desirable as full training provided)
• Ensuring to help the children with their emotional, physical and developmental needs.
• Display yourself as an appropriate role model
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, empathy and resilience
• Encourage positive life experiences for the children
• Strong experience building report
