Job summary

The post holder will join a team delivering Short Break Services to a caseload of children and young people with high health needs and a learning disability. You will work in partnership with the child, family and carers to provide a warm, supportive environment that respects emotional, physical, cultural, religious and spiritual needs.

We welcome your experience with children and young people who have complex needs; appropriate supervision, training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Short Break Services to a caseload of children and young people with high health needs and learning disabilities.
• Work in partnership with the child, family and carers to provide a warm, supportive environment that respects emotional, physical, cultural, religious and spiritual needs.
• Be open to weekend, bank holiday and night work and participate in necessary supervision and training.
