This is a full-time on-site role as a Children’s Residential Care Worker located in Doncaster. As a Children’s Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and care to children and young people in a residential setting. Your day-to-day tasks may include creating and implementing care plans, offering emotional and practical support, and ensuring the well-being and safety of the children under your care.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a resilient and passionate individual to join our amazing teams. The role will be to support young people that are overcoming trauma and young people with learning difficulties, who have so much to offer and just need the guidance of nurturing adults that can show them the world isn’t such a scary place. Our aim is to provide the young people with a safe home, which mirrors as near a possible a family home.

Are you passionate, enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to making a difference in improving the lives of young people? Then our young people need you. We have vacancies in our homes for young people with learning disabilities and complex needs that require adults who are patient, caring, compassionate, and reliable. Our young people need familiarity and consistency, with adults that can commit to 20-40 hours a week. Adults that can support them to learn new skills, give them new life experiences, and create memories they will treasure for a lifetime. If this is you, then we can’t wait to meet you.

While experience and a Level 3 qualification in residential childcare are advantageous, they are not mandatory. We offer a thorough induction and training programme. You will be enrolled in a nationally recognised qualification, with support provided to complete this. Our exceptional therapist will train you to deliver informed therapeutic practice.

This role will involve paid sleep-in shifts and full-day shifts, often preferred by people looking to enjoy full days off a week. This is an excellent chance for individuals seeking to positively impact young people’s lives, suitable for both seasoned care professionals and those considering a career transition.
