Aleading healthcare provider is seeking a Support Worker in Birmingham to assist two children with complex needs. This role involves providing compassionate care, engaging in enriching activities, and fostering a trusting relationship. Support Worker
Pay rate: £13.00 - 13.50 (Monthly Pay)
Shift Pattern:22:00pm - 8:00am Mon to Sun
We've got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with 2 children living in their family home in Birmingham.These individuals have complex clinical needs, a brain disorder, early developmental impairment and Global Development delay but this does not define them. More interestingly they have a great sense of humour and have a wide range of hobbies!
Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this person’s life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following:
What will your shift involve?
In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 2:1 basis, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs.Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote their social interaction and well-being.Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence.Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.
