BWD Children’s Services, recently rated GOOD in its full ILACS Ofsted Inspection, seeks a Supervising Social Worker to cover its Fostering Service. The role involves working across both kinship and mainstream fostering teams, including assessment and supervision of foster carers and kinship carers. The applicant should have sound knowledge of fostering regulations, national minimum standards, kinship, and special guardianship. Previous experience in fostering or adoption would be advantageous. BWD offers a hybrid working policy, with the expectation that the applicant is on-site 3 days out of 5.
