Service Care is seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker for a 2-week contract based in Bolton. The role covers safeguarding duties within a statutory framework, managing a caseload, and delivering court reports. Flexibility to work from home and in-office at Castle Hill is provided.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child protection, be able to meet deadlines, and collaborate with partner agencies to ensure child welfare. Immediate start offered.

Qualificações

• Qualified Social Worker registered in the UK with active social work status.
• Experience in safeguarding and child protection within statutory social work.
• Ability to manage caseloads and meet statutory deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Manage caseload across Bolton, including Child in Need and child protection cases.
• Conduct statutory visits and assessments, including court reports.
• Meet statutory deadlines to safeguard children and support welfare.
• Carry out duty and home visits to support families in their environments.
• Prepare accurate assessments and reports to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to support child welfare.
• Travel to various locations within Bolton and to the office on short notice.
• Maintain detailed records and adhere to policies.
