Charles Hunter Associates Ltd seeks an Experienced Children’s Social Worker to join a Referral and Assessment Team in the East Midlands. The role requires a Social Work Qualification with at least 3 years of permanent post-qualified Local Authority experience.

The post involves being the first contact for assessments and potential intervention, including Section 47/17/7 assessments, within a therapeutic practice context. A valid UK driving licence with access to a car is essential.

Qualifications

• Social Work qualification with a minimum of 3 years permanent post-qualified experience in a Local Authority.
• Knowledge of working in a children's setting in line with relevant legislation.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.

Responsabilités

• Lead assessments for children and families, including Section 47, Section 17 and Section 7 assessments.
• Act as first point of contact for assessment and potential intervention.
