Job Description:

Archer Resourcing has a great new Children’s Social Worker position available in Bassetlaw.

If you have experience as a Social Worker, especially working with children, this role could be for you. The team in Bassetlaw seeks a dedicated and passionate individual to help improve the lives of children by meeting their individual needs.

Your role will include, but is not limited to:

• Collaborating with various agencies to manage and progress a child’s plan (Child in Need or Child Protection)
• Coordinating, monitoring, and adjusting service provisions to promote positive change in a child's home environment
• Assessing children's needs
• Working with others to safeguard vulnerable individuals and promote their best interests

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work/Diploma in Social Work/CQSW approved by SWE
• Registered with Social Work England
• Strong assessment and case management skills
• Full driving license and access to own vehicle preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of statutory frameworks, policies, procedures, and best practices
• Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months; fast-track options available if on the update service
