Job description

We are looking for a Senior Social Worker to join a Children's Safeguarding Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team is responsible for dealing with Child in Need, Child Protection and PLO cases in the borough. Effective assessment, analysis and planning skills and ability to work with a systemic approach is a necessity to work well in this team. The team is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families to ensure the best outcome possible.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a children's frontline safeguarding Social Work team as well as key experience in initial court proceedings. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle are essential for this role.
