Job summary

Support at Home Ltd is expanding its Children’s Services in Warrington and surrounding areas. We are seeking an ambitious, motivated professional to help develop this exciting service and lead service development, quality assurance and staff management.

You will undertake direct support during the initial growth, build positive relationships with families and professionals, recruit and induct staff, deliver training, supervision and ensure high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children and young people with additional needs and complex care.
• Experience supervising or supporting care staff.
• Strong assessment and care planning skills.
• Excellent communication, IT and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to work flexibly to meet service needs.
• Experience working with local authorities and multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of Ofsted and children’s service regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and growth of Children’s Services in Warrington.
• Complete assessments, reviews and risk assessments.
• Support the implementation of new care packages.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
• Recruit, induct and support care staff.
• Deliver client led training, observations and competency assessments.
• Supervise and support care workers.
• Monitor service quality and compliance.
• Deliver direct support during the service development phase.
• Promote the organisation’s values and commitment to outstanding care.
