• Previous experience in residential care is preferred but not essential; full training provided.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication skills with children, colleagues and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines, personal care, meals, and activities to promote independence.
• Provide educational support, help with homework and skill development.
• Lead recreational activities and organise events and holidays.
• Offer emotional support with person-centred care.
• Complete care plans and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a safe, clean, well‑organised home.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a nurturing environment.
