As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide safe, consistent and child centred care supporting the emotional and physical wellbeing of the young people in our homes.

With patience, empathy and consistency, you’ll provide a positive role model, helping young people begin to heal from past trauma, rebuild their confidence and learn to trust adults again. To succeed in this role, you’ll be adaptable and resilient, with the ability to remain calm and consistent in challenging situations. Above all, you’ll be passionate about helping young people overcome adversity, build positive relationships and work towards brighter futures.
You will need to successfully complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within the first 24 months of support work. This will be fully funded by Break and you will be supported by our training team.
Please note that you must have a full, UK driving licence for this position.
