Job summary

Belmont Recruitment seeks a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker for our Warrington team. You will join a safe, nurturing residential setting to support children and young people with daily routines, emotional wellbeing, education and personal development, making a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities include assisting with routines, building positive relationships, promoting wellbeing, and supporting social and life skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in residential or similar settings.
• Experience with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, empathetic and professional in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people with daily routines and personal development.
• Provide emotional support and promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.
• Build trusting relationships and assist with social and life skills.
• Work with colleagues to maintain a safe, structured environment.
• Assist with behavioural management strategies in line with policies.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of all young people at all times.
• Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
