Sunrise Children’s Centre, located in Kent, is seeking a part-time Children’s Residential Worker (25 hours per week) to join a busy team. The role involves supporting children aged 5–18 with disabilities, following care plans, and engaging in a range of recreational activities.

You will work evenings, two weekends per month, and some bank holidays, with a focus on high-quality care and safeguarding. Training and development are offered as part of the induction.

Qualifications

• Follow care plans and keep them updated.
• Support and assist children and young people with personal care needs.
• Create factual reports.
• Willing to undertake training and apply theory in practice.
• Pro-active approach to own learning.
• Communicate in an open and honest manner.
• Organise and deliver new recreational and social opportunities for children.
• Aware of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
• Willing to work towards a Diploma in Residential Childcare.
