Job summary

Social Personnel is looking for a Service Manager for Children's Resources in London. ROLE PURPOSE:

Service Manager Children's Resources
Up to 6

Up to 30 care staff plus a range of partners working in the service

The Ofsted Registered Manager will provide a warm, safe, homely environment for children to live or stay, fully compliant with the Children's home regulations including the quality standards 2015 and the Children's Act 2004. They will ensure that children receive the highest levels of support to aim high and achieve their goals.

The Manager will guide and support a team of staff and partners to ensure that the individual assessed needs of children are met despite any challenges. They will stay informed of changing practices and issues at both national and local levels to ensure that the service provides the best support, manages resources effectively, deals with complex issues, and manages risk.

The Manager will liaise closely with various agencies and adopt a 'One Council' approach to supporting Hillingdon's residents. They will work closely with psychologists, CCG & Police, therapists, YOS, education, and social workers, ensuring well-chaired meetings and working groups to deliver effective services for children.

They are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the service, including managing premises and staffing in accordance with health & safety regulations, Children's Home Regulations, and LBH/CCG policies and procedures.
