Job Description

We are looking for a Children’s Pastor to oversee our Sunday ministries and encourage our parents as they disciple their children. We value children and young people highly and see them as full members of the church. We understand they have many gifts and insights and look to learn from them as we point them towards Jesus.

St Paul’s is a growing community church located in a semi-deprived part of central Cheltenham and part of a team with Trinity Cheltenham. We have a thriving children’s ministry with a committed Sunday team and now we need someone who can oversee the team; encourage, train and recruit; and champion children within the church community.

You will be a committed follower of Jesus, filled with His Spirit and have a love for children. You’ll have experience of children’s ministry and ideally of building and growing teams, but we can train and develop you if needs be.

The role is part time, but exact hours are negotiable.

Salary range: £27,000-£30,000 FTE depending on experience and qualifications.
