Christ Church is a growing Anglican church in the town centre of Tunbridge Wells. Our aim is to “Play our part in the spiritual and social transformation of Tunbridge Wells and beyond”. Our worship style is informal, and we value the ministry of both Word and Spirit. You will get a good flavour of our church’s style and ministry by looking at our website. Our current children’s work consists of Kids Church (Primary aged children) at both of our Sunday morning services (9.15am and 11.15am) and 2 groups for pre-school children at our 9.15 service.
At Christ Church we enjoy working as a team and there is plenty of opportunity for the Children’s Assistant to develop other areas of interest and ministry (such as prayer, leading and speaking in Child focussed services, training in different areas of ministry etc).
Subject to an Enhanced DBS check and references. This post has a Genuine Occupational Requirement that the postholder is a Christian (Equality Act 2010)
