Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Children’s House Manager for a new home in the Warrington area. You will lead a team to provide high-quality care for young people with complex needs in a supportive, well-regulated environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management - Children’s Residential (or be willing to work towards it) and a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.

Qualifications

• Required qualifications include Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management - Children's Residential (or willing to work towards).
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is also required.

Responsibilities

• Be a safeguarding expert with knowledge of risk assessment, regulations, and legislation to empower informed decisions.
• Ensure home operates under Ofsted standards and works with the Registered Manager.
• Forge strong relationships with Social Services, NHS, Police, and Education.
• Deputise for the Registered Manager and lead the team in their absence.
• Lead staff development and nurture future leaders within the team.
• Monitor standards, meet objectives, and implement best-practice systems.
