Location: Barnsley

Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

Full Time: 39 hours per week

Salary: £47,381.23 per annum with the potential to earn up to £56,981.23 with bonuses

We are seeking a Children's Home Dual Registered Manager to oversee two homes in Barnsley. You will manage a one- and two-bedroom home with a small team.

As a Dual Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management of the homes, ensuring high-quality care, promoting young people's rights, and complying with organizational policies.

You will lead care teams, ensuring positive outcomes for young people's physical, psychological, emotional, and social development.

Requirements:

• Enthusiasm for providing high-quality care and education
• Experience managing a team
• Ability to develop effective relationships with colleagues, young people, and external agencies
• Recognized social work qualification (e.g., QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce, or equivalent)
• At least 3 years' relevant experience within the last 5 years, including 1 year of staff supervision and management
• Valid manual driving license, own car, and ability to undertake on-call duties
• Knowledge of Children's Home legislation, Ofsted inspection requirements, and safeguarding procedures

Role responsibilities include:

• Developing and delivering high-quality care aligned with legislation, regulations, and organizational policies
• Ensuring health and safety compliance and staff training
• Maintaining records and monitoring systems
• Providing management information and statistical reports
• Innovating childcare approaches and contributing to organizational leadership
• Attending and chairing meetings
• Participating in on-call duties, including sleep-in shifts
• Contributing to the organization's ethos, values, and aims
• Writing reports and overseeing communication standards
• Making decisions and overseeing admissions/discharges
• Leading change and organizational vision
