Job summary

Novap HR in Winnersh is seeking a Solicitor - Children Panel Accredited to join our Family Law team on a hybrid basis. The role combines hands-on case management with mentoring junior colleagues, handling complex care proceedings and providing expert support to vulnerable children and families.

You will manage client matters, draft court documents, and navigate CCMS for Legal Aid while meeting billing targets.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
• Children Law Accredited.
• Experience with Legal Aid CCMS.
• Care Proceedings experience and advising courts.
• Team player committed to mentoring.
• Proficient IT and case management software.

Responsibilities

• Represent in Care matters and care/supervision proceedings.
• Prepare court documents, statements, bundles.
• Manage files in Leap case management.
• Advise clients and coordinate with professionals.
• Navigate CCMS and legal aid applications.
• Meet monthly billing targets and support firm finances.
• Lead a team of paralegals and admin staff.
