Job summary

ENL Legal Recruitment is seeking a Children Panel Solicitor to join a well-regarded Family team in Bedfordshire. The role covers a varied caseload from initial instruction to completion, including care proceedings and adoption work, with hybrid working and potential career progression.

Applicants should have 3–5 years’ PQE, current Children Panel Accreditation, and strong advocacy, communication and organisational skills to manage cases independently in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years PQE in Children Panel Solicitor.
• Current Children Panel Accreditation.
• Experience handling Care Proceedings, Interim Care Orders, Emergency Protection Orders, Special Guardianship Orders and Adoption matters.
• Strong communication, advocacy and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of public and private Children Law matters from initial instruction through to conclusion, with minimal supervision.
• Handle a broad range of work including Care Proceedings, Interim Care Orders, Emergency Protection Orders, Special Guardianship Orders and Adoption matters.
