Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a Children's Mental Health Assistant in the Sunderland / North Tyneside area to support pupils with Social and Emotional Mental Health needs. You will work closely with students to keep them engaged and help de-escalate challenging situations, ensuring a supportive classroom environment.

The role is long term, potentially permanent, with Right to Work checks and a DBS via the Update Service required.

The School and Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team as a Children's Mental Health Assistant in the North Tyneside area. Asa Children's Mental Health Assistant, you will be working with children who have a diagnosis of Social and Emotional Mental Health needs. One of your biggest roles will be ensuring they are engaged and being able to de-escalate any challenging situations. This Children's Mental Health Assistantrole is long term and potentially permanent. All candidates are subject to a Right to Work Check and need a DBS on the Update Service.
