Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Hexham is seeking a Children’s Mental Health Assistant to support pupils with Social and Emotional Mental Health needs. You will help keep learners engaged and apply de‑escalation techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment.

The School and Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team as a Children's Mental Health Assistant in the Hexham area. Asa Children's Mental Health Assistant, you will be working with children who have a diagnosis of Social and Emotional Mental Health needs. One of your biggest roles will be ensuring they are engaged and being able to de-escalate any challenging situations. This Children's Mental Health Assistantrole is long term and potentially permanent. All candidates are subject to a Right to Work Check and need a DBS on the Update Service.
