Vision for Education Ltd. is recruiting a Children's Mental Health Assistant to work in the Peterlee/Easington area. The role focuses on supporting children with Social and Emotional Mental Health needs, helping them engage and de-escalate when needed.

This long-term position offers a flexible, supportive work pattern and the chance to experience various schools while building confidence and skills. As part of a dedicated team, you’ll receive ongoing CPD and have 24/7 consultant support to help

The School and Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team as a Children's Mental Health Assistant in the Peterlee/Easington area. As a Children's Mental Health Assistant, you will be working with children who have a diagnosis of Social and Emotional Mental Health needs. One of your biggest roles will be ensuring they are engaged and being able to de-escalate any challenging situations. This Children's Mental Health Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent. All candidates are subject to a Right to Work Check and need a DBS on the Update Service.
