Job summary

Remedy Social Work is recruiting on behalf of Kent County Council for a Qualified social worker to join the Children’s services team. You will manage a Children & Families caseload, undertake assessments, planning, and welfare reports, and attend court as required, aligned with the Social Care Capability Framework.

The post requires HCPC registration and completion of the ASYE within two years of qualifying, with strong commitment to safeguarding and partnership working with statutory, voluntary

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with HCPC registration.
• ASYE standard to be completed within 2 years of qualifying.
• Experience with Looked After Children, Children in Need and Child Protection is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a Children & Families caseload including assessments, planning and welfare reports.
• Attend training and conduct safeguarding activities in line with SCCF and HCPC requirements.
• Liaise with statutory, voluntary and private sector agencies to secure good outcomes for children and families.
