Job summary

Advantage Healthcare is seeking a Children's Complex Care Assistant to provide in-home care with ventilation and tracheostomy support for a client who enjoys bike rides and age-appropriate YouTube videos. You will receive full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in complex care needs, under City & County Healthcare Group; a strong commitment to care and security is emphasized.

The role requires prior childcare experience with ventilation and tracheostomy care, plus

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare with ventilation care and tracheostomy care is required.
• Medication experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care with tracheostomy and ventilation support for a client.
• Support client with daily activities and monitor health under clinical guidance.

Skills

Childcare experience with ventilation

• During school holidays: Saturdays plus one weekday, 9am-5pm

Experience in childcare with ventilation care and tracheostomy care is preferred.

What you'll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Children's Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation and managing our client with Autism in their own home. Our client enjoys riding his bike and watching age appropriate you tube videos. If you can make a difference then this role is for you.
