Nudge Education Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking compassionate practitioners to deliver tailored 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs. This community-based role works beyond traditional classrooms to create safe, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.

You will deliver tailored intervention sessions, build positive relationships, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and professionals to support outcomes for vulnerable learners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
• Experience supporting young people with ADHD/ ASD and challenging behaviour.
• Experience supporting young people with ACEs and using trauma-informed practice.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three days’ availability per week.
• Willingness to obtain business car insurance prior to commencing the role.

At Nudge Education, we support children and young people who are disengaged from education through tailored mentoring and interventions that help them reconnect, rebuild confidence, and thrive.

About The Role

We are looking for compassionate and adaptable practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.

This is a community-based role, working beyond traditional classrooms to create safe, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.

Who We’re Looking For

You may come from education, youth work, healthcare, social care, coaching, uniformed services, or other people-focused backgrounds.

We value empathy, resilience, creativity, and the ability to build trust with vulnerable young people.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
• Experience supporting young people with ADHD/ ASD and challenging behaviour
• Experience supporting young people with ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and using trauma-informed practice
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three days’ availability per week to provide consistency for our young people
• Willingness to obtain business car insurance prior to commencing the role

Practicalities

• Flexible opportunities based on location and student match
• £16.48-£25.75 per hour for lead roles, plus agreed expenses
• Monday-Friday daytime availability required
• Consistent availability is essential to provide stability for young people
