Nudge Education Limited is recruiting compassionate practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH or additional needs in a community setting. This role focuses on safe, engaging and meaningful learning experiences beyond traditional classrooms.

You'll build trusting relationships, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and regional teams. A minimum of three days per week is required, with flexible location-based opportunities and DBS checks as part of

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience.
• Experience supporting young people with ADHD/ ASD.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three days' availability per week.
• Willingness to obtain business car insurance prior to commencing the role.
• Willingness to undertake Personal Care & adapt to complex needs of students.

Around 90,000 young people across the UK are persistently absent from education each year. At Nudge Education, we support children and young people who are disengaged from education through tailored mentoring and interventions that help them reconnect, rebuild confidence, and thrive.

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and adaptable practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.

This is a community-based role, working beyond traditional classrooms to create safe, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.

You will

• Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and regional teams

Who We're Looking For

You may come from education, youth work, healthcare, social care, coaching, uniformed services, or other people-focused backgrounds.

We value empathy, resilience, creativity, and the ability to build trust with vulnerable young people.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
• Experience supporting young people with ADHD/ ASD
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three days' availability per week to provide consistency for our young people
• Willingness to obtain business car insurance prior to commencing the role
• Willing to undertake Personal Care & adapt to complex needs of students.

Practicalities

• Flexible opportunities based on location and student match
• £16.48-£25.75 per hour for lead roles, plus agreed expenses
• Monday-Friday daytime availability required
• Consistent availability is essential to provide stability for young people
