Job summary

Nudge Education is seeking compassionate practitioners to provide 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs in community settings, outside traditional classrooms. This role focuses on tailored intervention sessions, building trusted relationships, monitoring progress, and reporting safeguarding concerns, with a commitment of at least three days per week.

Drivers with full UK licence and access to a vehicle are preferred to reach learners across locations, and DBS checks are

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of three days’ availability per week to provide consistency for our young people.
  • Willingness to obtain business car insurance prior to commencing the role.
  • Experience with ADHD, OCD, PDA and ASD required.

About the Role


We are looking for compassionate and adaptable practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.


This is a community-based role, working beyond traditional classrooms to create safe, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.


You will:



  • Deliver tailored intervention sessions

  • Build positive and consistent relationships with young people

  • Monitor progress and report safeguarding concerns

  • Complete risk assessments and maintain accurate records

  • Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and regional teams


Who We’re Looking For

You may come from education, youth work, healthcare, social care, coaching, uniformed services, or other people-focused backgrounds.

Essential Requirements


  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience

  • Experience supporting young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs
