Job summary

Nudge Education is seeking compassionate practitioners for 1:1 support with young people who have SEN/SEMH needs. This community-based role goes beyond traditional classrooms to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences.

You will deliver intervention sessions, build trust, monitor progress, and report safeguarding concerns. Ideal candidates bring empathy, resilience, and a proven ability to work with families and professionals across regions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
• Experience supporting young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three days’ availability per week.
• Willingness to obtain business car insurance prior to commencing the role.
• Experience with ADHD, OCD, PDA and ASD required.

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and adaptable practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.

Who We’re Looking For

You may come from education, youth work, healthcare, social care, coaching, uniformed services, or other people-focused backgrounds.

Essential Requirements

Practicalities

• Flexible opportunities based on location and student match


• £16–£25 per hour for lead roles, plus agreed expenses


• Monday–Friday daytime afternoon required


• Consistent availability is essential to provide stability for young people
