This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on childcare experience while working towards a recognised Early Years qualification in a supportive childminding environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Work alongside the Childminder to support the daily running of a busy childminding setting.
Assist in providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Plan and participate in fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.
Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
Help children develop independence, confidence, and positive relationships.
Support children's personal care needs where appropriate.
Prepare and maintain resources and learning environments.
Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and promote children's welfare at all times.
Observe, monitor, and contribute to records of children's progress and achievements.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene throughout the setting.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and other professionals.
Complete all apprenticeship coursework and attend training as required.
Working Week 30 hours per week Monday to Friday Qualifications Required GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.

Training to be Provided Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer.
