The Cheshire Day Nursery Guardian Street in Warrington is seeking two Nursery Apprentices who are passionate about working with children and who want to undertake a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. The role offers a 40-hour week, £16,848 per year, and starts 02/11/2026, with a deadline of 30/10/2026.

DBS and references are required; training will be delivered by Realise with on-the-job coaching, and 20% off-the-job learning is incorporated into the day.

Cheshire Day Nursery – Guardian Street are looking for a Nursery Apprentice who have a passion to work with children and would like to undertake a level 3 qualification.

To be considered for the Early Years Apprentice role you must have a love of children and a genuine warmth towards them!

Responsibilities

• Being part of a friendly team
• Having a group of key children, responsible for planning and completing observations.
• Ensuring that the safeguarding and welfare of the children is paramount in the room at all times.
• Being aware of and complying with the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework.
• Making sure the children have a safe, fun, and great learning environment.
• Building positive relationships by engaging and interacting with the children, staff, and families

The purpose-built building, with large airy rooms and plenty of natural light, includes a kindergarten and a recently renovated outdoor area.

Training to be Provided

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
