Job summary

Tyne and Wear Learning Trust is seeking an outstanding Childcare Officer for the Day Care at the Monument Centre. At Barnwell Primary Academy, the team values collaboration and professional growth to give every child the best start in a warm, dedicated setting.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification meeting DfE guidance and demonstrate teamwork, reliability, and a flexible, child-centered approach to daily care and learning.

Qualifications

  • The successful applicant will have a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (the full title and Awarding Body of your qualification certificate must meet DfE Guidance to allow you to work in an Early Years setting).

Responsibilities

  • Design inspiring learning experiences in a warm, purpose-built Day Care environment.
  • Build meaningful partnerships with local families to support children's development.
  • Work with the Daycare team to provide outstanding early years practice.
  • Be flexible to work Monday-Friday between 8:00am and 6:00pm, as part of a supportive team.

  • Be willing to work as part of a team and support colleagues when required
  • Have a positive and flexible approach to their work
