Tops Yeovil Nursery is a 56-place day nursery providing high-quality Early Education and Care for children aged 3 months to 5 years. This Level 3 apprenticeship runs alongside dedicated training and on-site practice with full trainer support.

You will study modules such as Child development, Safeguarding and Transitions, with EPA support sessions and ongoing assessments. The role begins with 30 hours per week and includes a competitive apprenticeship wage.

Formación

• This course is suitable for those working in a childcare setting aiming for supervisory roles.
• If GCSE maths/English grade is below 4, you must complete Functional Skills Level 2.
• Full trainer support with varied learning materials.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in providing a safe environment for children
• Assisting with daily, weekly and monthly checks around the nursery
• Assist in ensuring the unit is clean and tidy and assist in meal preparation
• Assist colleagues with developing and maintaining good relationships with local schools, charities and involvement with the community (e.g. parades, visiting care homes)
• Taking children on trips out and assist on picking up from school
• Able to support children's behaviour and act as a role model
• Support in ensuring the environment is stimulating and appropriate including layout, display of resources, displays and equal opportunities
