  • Work alongside families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care and support.
  • Help children develop life skills, such as communication, social interaction, and self-care, through structured activities and positive reinforcement.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with children to encourage open communication and ensure their voices are heard.
  • Promote safeguarding and well-being by identifying potential risks or concerns and reporting them appropriately to ensure the child’s safety.
  • Support children in educational and recreational settings, assisting with schoolwork, extracurricular activities, and social interactions.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of interactions, progress, and any concerns, adhering to safeguarding policies and legal requirements.
  • Work as part of a team, attending meetings, case reviews, and training sessions to improve the quality of care provided.
