Job summary

Canon Slade School is seeking a passionate Child Protection Officer to join our English Academy community. The role covers safeguarding, casework for vulnerable children and families, and coordinating responses to child protection issues in a busy school environment.

The successful candidate will have experience in safeguarding, knowledge of child protection legislation and strong communication and record-keeping skills within a school setting.

CHILD PROTECTION OFFICER GRADE F SCP 17-23 (£32,046 - £35,570) ACTUAL SALARY £27,441.03 - £30,458.63 37 HOURS PER WEEK TERM TIME PLUS 5 DAYS PERMANENT CONTRACT REQUIRED ASAP

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:

• To act as first point of contact and co-ordinate the response to Child Protection Issues.
• To access support for children and families who are deemed to be vulnerable.
• To manage a case load of our most vulnerable children and families and monitor and evaluate the impact of support.
