Qualifications

• Substantial post-qualification experience in statutory children's social care.
• Experience chairing multi-agency safeguarding meetings and conferences.
• Experience working with children at risk of significant harm.
• Current registration with Social Work England.

Responsibilities

• Chair Initial Child Protection Conferences, Review Conferences and other safeguarding meetings.
• Ensure decisions relating to children at risk of significant harm are safe and evidence-based.
• Oversee development and review of Child Protection Plans with SMART targets.
• Monitor safeguarding arrangements and multi-agency planning for children and families.
• Keep the child's welfare and voice central in safeguarding processes.
