Job summary

Horizon Care and Education Group Ltd is seeking an Experienced Psychotherapist to join our expanding Therapeutic Team. You will support colleagues across the group to deliver positive outcomes for young people, manage your own caseloads, and provide expert therapeutic guidance within residential and education settings.

Key requirements include HCPC registration, experience with children and Young People in CAMHS or community mental health services, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and current practising status.
• Experience with children and young people in residential or education settings.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Experience teaching, training and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseloads to provide high levels of support and consultation for operational colleagues.
• Provide therapeutic advice and guidance to teams to enable them to support young people throughout their journey with Horizon.
• To be responsible for assessments, goal setting and recommendations for therapeutic support for your own caseload.
• To develop, write and regularly review/update therapeutic goals for children and young people in education.
• To develop and contribute to the delivery of therapeutic and psychological training to all staff in the organisation as part of the Therapeutic Academy.
