Job summary

Horizon Care and Education is seeking an experienced psychotherapist to join our Therapeutic Team. You will manage caseloads and provide expert guidance to colleagues, supporting young people across our residential and education services.

The role involves assessments, goal setting, and developing therapeutic plans, plus delivering staff training through the Therapeutic Academy and contributing to service development.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered
• Experience of working with Children and Young People
• Accredited by BACP, BABCP, or UKCP
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
• Ability to work autonomously with supervision
• Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseloads to provide high levels of support and consultation for operational colleagues
• Provide therapeutic advice and guidance to teams to enable them to support young people throughout their journey with Horizon
• To be responsible for assessments, goal setting and recommendations for therapeutic support for your own caseload
• To develop, write and regularly review/update therapeutic goals for children and young people in education
• To develop and contribute to the delivery of therapeutic and psychological training to all staff in the organisation as part of the Therapeutic Academy
