Job summary

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist to join CAMHS as Professional Lead. The role is permanent, part-time (22.5 hours per week) in Horsham, West Sussex, offering a balanced mix of clinical practice (50%) and professional leadership (50%).

You will provide professional leadership, supervision, and drive workforce development, improving access and outcomes for children and families across Sussex CAMHS.

Qualifications

• Recognised professional registration and accreditation.
• Post-qualification experience delivering specialist psychological interventions for children, young people and families.
• Experience of clinical supervision and multidisciplinary working.
• Leadership experience and governance involvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership and clinical supervision for Child & Adolescent Psychotherapists.
• Support development of psychological professions across Sussex CAMHS.
• Lead work to improve access to psychological therapies and outcomes for children and families.
• Promote innovative, evidence-based psychotherapeutic practice.
• Support workforce development, supervision and professional standards.
• Provide specialist consultation, assessment and interventions for young people with complex needs.
• Work with managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
• Co-chair the Trust's Psychodynamic Network and shape psychodynamic practice.
