Job summary

Raytheon UK is recruiting a Chief Technology Officer within Training Transformation Services. The role defines Raytheon UK's Technology Roadmaps to enhance training outcomes across the TTS portfolio, focusing on learning innovation, AI, XR, simulation, data analytics and cloud-based environments.

It requires strategic planning, leadership, and collaboration with UK and international customers. The CTO will drive growth, guide capability development, and align with MoD objectives while building

Qualifications

Proven ability to develop technology strategies, roadmaps and business cases.
Strong understanding of learning science and modern instructional design.
Experience applying AI, XR, simulation, digital twins to learning challenges.
Experience with military/government or regulated customers.
Familiarity with cyber security and interoperability in defence tech.

Responsibilities

Define and implement the technology strategy and roadmap for defence training programs.
Shape customer training transformation strategies and influence capability requirements.
Develop partnerships to accelerate innovation and market differentiation.
Lead technology roadmaps for learning platforms, digital environments, and synthetic training solutions.
Provide senior technical advice to customers and manage delivery of high-performance teams.
Collaborate with design/media teams and external vendors to deliver engaging training content.
