Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a Head of Pollution Performance in the UK region, delivering an end-to-end pollution reduction strategy. You will lead cross-functional teams, oversee funding and drive investment in key areas while aligning with budgetary priorities.

The role reports to the Director of Wastewater Operations and demands strategic leadership, accountability, and a proactive risk-management mindset to protect water quality and environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Track record delivering major multi-disciplinary change programmes and projects at senior level.
• Ability to create and secure business case approval at Executive level.
• Strong coordination and team working skills across operational, compliance, engineering and project management teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a unified pollution reduction plan across the organisation.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement in pollution management.
• Monitor, analyse and report on KPIs related to pollution reduction.
• Enhance digital tools to provide visibility of risks and opportunities and build predictive capabilities.
