AstraZeneca in Cambridge, United Kingdom, seeks a visionary VP, Regulatory Head for Oncology Regulatory Science & Strategy to shape global regulatory strategy and steer a substantial oncology portfolio toward timely approvals.

You will lead Executive Directors and Global Regulatory Leaders, partnering with the SVP and senior leaders to translate breakthrough science into globally aligned regulatory pathways, while driving digital and data initiatives and ensuring alignment with portfolio

Qualifications

PhD in a scientific discipline or equivalent.
Substantial global experience at VP or Executive level delivering outcomes across multiple therapeutic programs.
Strong people and project management experience.
Proven track record in regulatory approvals, across regional or global levels, especially in oncology.

Responsibilities

Set the long-term oncology regulatory strategy as part of the leadership team.
Lead and evolve the Global Regulatory Centre of Excellence and supervise senior regulatory leaders.
Partner with SVP and executives to ensure regulatory alignment across development programs.
Define and align global regulatory strategies for assigned programs, balancing milestones with investments.
Advance digital/data strategies and automation within regulatory science to speed submissions.
Manage budgets and contribute to the function's financial plan.
