Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a seasoned VP, Regulatory Head for Oncology Regulatory Science & Strategy to shape our global regulatory vision, accelerate development, and steer the oncology portfolio toward faster approvals and meaningful patient impact.

You will lead Executive Directors and Global Regulatory Leaders, drive digital and data strategies, and partner across science and business to define strategy, allocate resources, and influence governance decisions at the highest levels.

Qualifications

• PhD in a scientific discipline or equivalent.
• Substantial global experience at the VP or Executive level delivering outcomes across oncology portfolios.
• Broad experience in drug development and regulatory approvals.

Responsibilities

• Set long-term oncology regulatory strategy as a member of the leadership team.
• Lead the Regional Centre of Excellence and executive partnership activities.
• Define and align global regulatory strategies for assigned programs across small molecules and biologics.
• Advance digital and data strategies in regulatory science to accelerate submissions.
• Lead Executives and Global Regulatory Leaders and drive a high-performance culture.
• Influence governance decisions and resource allocation to maximize value.
