Job summary

Your World Recruitment Group is seeking an accomplished Medical Director to provide strategic clinical leadership for a nationally recognised healthcare organisation in the West Midlands. You will drive clinical strategy, governance and operational medicine while maintaining frontline connection as an operational HEMS Flight Doctor.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience at senior medical level with governance responsibility.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver clinical strategy and reporting to the board.
• Strong skills in governance, risk, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with clinicians, executives and Trustees.
• Ability to provide high level clinical advice and professional leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the clinical strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
• Provide visible professional leadership across the medical directorate and lead Deputy Medical Directors.
• Oversee Clinical Governance Framework and drive continuous improvement in standards and learning.
• Fulfil statutory responsibilities as Responsible Officer and manage medical appraisal/revalidation processes.
• Build clinical networks and represent the organisation externally to strengthen its profile.
