Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group in London seeks a Global Head of Surveillance Oversight to provide independent second line oversight of its global Surveillance framework and governance of Market Abuse risks across markets, products and regions.

The role sits in 2LoD Conduct & Compliance, setting oversight expectations and challenging first line activity while influencing outcomes across the business. Strong regulatory judgement and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience overseeing Surveillance or similar monitoring frameworks.
• Experience owning or overseeing global policies and standards.
• Ability to engage with executive-level collaborators and apply regulatory judgement.
• Strong communication and leadership in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent second line oversight of the global Surveillance framework across regions and asset classes.
• Own and maintain Market Conduct Policy as it applies to Surveillance and align with supervisory expectations.
• Oversee Surveillance performance via governance forums, MI, themes, and risk remediation.
• Act as senior 2LoD point for Surveillance matters and regulatory interactions.
• Provide strategic oversight of Surveillance coverage across trading and communications.
• Design and lead assurance testing of Surveillance controls and improvements.
• Advise senior management on regulatory developments and Market Abuse risks.
