Job description

SRG is seeking a Chief Financial Officer with 25+ years of experience in financial leadership roles within large multinational companies for a substantial “old economy” multinational group of companies headquartered in the UK. This role offers a very competitive remuneration package and involves regular meetings in London and various European locations. Interim/permanent appointment. You will be ACA qualified and have a strong background in managing banking and trade credit insurance relationships in multiple UK and European jurisdictions.

Applicants requiring or currently working on a VISA in the UK will not be considered for this position.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Bringing gravitas and extensive experience to represent the group in high-level meetings with UK and European banks and trade credit insurers.
2. Leading and managing a large group accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the board.
3. Overseeing the preparation of consolidated group accounts.
4. Contributing to strategic discussions with the board.
5. Overseeing financial initiatives to support the company’s goals.

What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role

2. 25+ years of experience in financial leadership roles within large multinational companies.
3. Strong background in managing banking and trade credit insurance relationships in multiple UK and European jurisdictions.
