Finatal is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to oversee fund and management company finance for its private markets business in London. The role reports to the Managing Partners and requires leading finance strategy, governance, and operational excellence across PE and private credit funds.

The CFO will partner with investment teams, investors, and external advisers to ensure best-in-class financial management, robust controls, and scalable growth as the firm expands its platforms and investment

Qualifikationen

• Senior finance leadership experience in private equity, private credit, or alt asset management.
• Strong fund accounting, investor reporting, treasury, tax governance, and controls.
• Experience with institutional investors, fund administrators, auditors, and advisers.
• Proven fundraising support and scaling finance functions in growth firms.
• Commercial leadership with excellent stakeholder management.
• Professional qualification: ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent.

Finatal is partnering with a leading mid-market private markets investment firm to appoint a Chief Financial Officer. Managing both private equity and private credit strategies, the firm is entering an exciting phase of growth and is seeking a commercially minded finance leader to oversee the finance function and support the continued evolution of the business.

Reporting directly to the Managing Partners, the CFO will lead all aspects of fund and management company finance, partnering closely with the investment team, investors, Board, and external advisers to ensure best-in-class financial management, governance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of fund finance and management company accounting across private equity and private credit strategies
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and cash management
• Manage fund accounting, capital calls, distributions, carried interest, management fees, valuations, and investor reporting

Requirements:

• Significant senior finance leadership experience within private equity, private credit, or alternative asset management
• Strong knowledge of fund accounting, investor reporting, treasury, tax, and financial controls
• Experience working with institutional investors, fund administrators, auditors, and external advisers
• Track record of supporting fundraising and scaling finance functions within a growing investment management business
• Commercially minded with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent accounting qualification
