Chief Financial Officer | Private Equity-Backed Business

UK / Europe | Remote | Permanent

We are seeking a commercially minded, hands-on CFO to play a pivotal role in the transformation and next stage of growth of an international, private equity-backed professional services business.

Working closely with the CEO and investors, the successful candidate will bring financial discipline, operational rigour and strong commercial leadership to a business with significant potential.

1. Performance management: Establishing a robust operating rhythm, with clear targets, monthly performance reviews and accountability across the business.
2. Lender relationships: Taking direct responsibility for senior lender relationships, covenant management, facility amendments and refinancing.
3. Cash and liquidity: Leading hands-on cash management, including 13-week cash flow forecasting, working capital improvement and payment management.
4. Financial leadership: Building a high-performing finance function, improving reporting and forecasting, and supporting operational and financial improvement.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced CFO or Finance Director with a strong track record in private equity-backed or lender-financed businesses, ideally within professional services or a project-based environment.
